PNG Batch Placement Proof is a separate browser-based companion for designers comparing several PNGs at the same print widths. It measures full-canvas size, visible alpha bounds, effective PPI and the visible artwork’s placed size.

Packaging and compatibility.

The companion is a ZIP containing a self-contained HTML application and instructions. Extract the ZIP and open the HTML file in Chromium. It is a portable browser application, not a native installer or an installed PWA.

Offline use, PNG calculations, reports and presets have been tested on Ubuntu Linux with Chromium. Windows, macOS and other browsers have not been tested. Local preset storage depends on browser settings and the file’s location.

Supported files: static, 8-bit PNGs with square pixels. Limits: 16 MiB and 25 million pixels per PNG; 128 MiB per batch. Reports include filenames, so check them before sharing. Geometry measurements do not certify sharpness, color, bleed, licensing or a printer’s acceptance.

Privacy choices

How optional measurement works

Optional measurement: with your consent, Across instrumented Kleiren pages, statistics count page views, successful calculations only on PNG View, and outbound clicks only for published approved affiliate offers. Counters are grouped by day and public page. Only a broad traffic-source category and a recognized public campaign label are sent. No filenames, file contents, form values, full referrers, URL queries, IP addresses or visitor identifiers are stored in these statistics. These are observations, not unique people or sales. Aggregate counters expire after 30 days. The HTTPS collector and hosting providers necessarily process connection information to deliver requests; their operational logs are separate from these statistics. Analytics and Awin affiliate attribution are separate choices, off by default. Affiliate attribution stays inactive until approved offer links are published. If selected for an available offer, it sends only the public article label to Awin on a deliberate outbound click; Awin and the merchant apply their own privacy terms and may use tracking cookies. Without affiliate consent, the same offer opens directly at the merchant. Your choice is kept only in memory for this page. Opening Privacy choices immediately withdraws both choices; you can then make a new selection. Ordinary access remains available without consent. Contact support@kleiren.com about privacy.
